Photography has been my hobby for as long as I can remember (or sixth grade!).  My two grandpa's and my dad always had cameras in their hands when I was a kid and I wanted to be just like them.  Later I have learned to have a photographer's eye for interesting shots.  I learned how to take pictures of moving items spending years trying to get good shots of hydroplanes racing. I think that helped the last few years when I have been taking photos of eagles and osprey fishing.

I have collected some of my photographs from over the years and split them up into six categories .... osprey (catching salmon), eagles, flowers/leaves, scenery, animals, and miscellaneous photos.  Enjoy!

Every year near Labor Day, the osprey come to fish at Hayden Lake in Hayden, ID.  The lake is stocked each year with Kokanee Salmon. At this time of year they come to one spot on the lake to spawn. This brings the osprey and the photographers to the area.

Each year near the end of November until early January, the eagles come to Lake Coeur d'Alene to eat salmon.  The photographers also migrate there to photograph them.  The eagles do not care if people walk directly underneath them or talk nearby. All they are interested in is watching the lake for salmon and getting fed.

Flowers & Leaves

Whenever I go places I love to take photos of flowers or fun shaped leaves.  Here are the ones I found to share:

Whenever I go places I love to take photos of scenery so I can remember how beautiful God's world is.
