1983 was a busy year from March to October.  We went to hydroplane races 3 weekends a month, now named Bolam's Express, traveling to Washington, Oregon, and Montana, In between those times, we worked full time jobs, washed and repacked all the clothes, bought and packed groceries, and visited with friends and family.  It was a great time but by the end of the season we were always happy to be done racing for the year.  Off season, Bob and Kath took a stained glass class at the junior college.  It was a great thing to do together.
